When I transitioned my major to Studio Art in 2016, I spent some time working for the Stony Brook University’s Department of Information Techology communications group. At the time, SBU just began implementing its new FAR BEYOND branding across campus and throughout its media presence. Under the guidance of Kerrin Perniciaro and Nicholas Ciuffo, I focused on promoting the technology services to the student body as well as campus outreach.




This was the largest organization I had worked for, much more so than PUSO. I learned how to communicate with a multi-level organization to understand and address the indivdual communication needs of different groups, how to work within brand guidelines to produce appealing imagery, and how to capture the attention of a diverse student body.
